I have a question for a friend of mine.
Why so much hatred for the Horde?
This friend of mine plays Alliance on the US-Windrunner realm.
He has two level 80 characters and plays them rather exceptionally.
I have been trying to get him to come roll a character on the Horde side and he absolutely refuses.
I hate all you Horde and I will kill all of you on sight if I have the chance!
I finally asked him why and here are the reasons he gave.
1. Horde are cheaters in battle grounds
2. Horde will gank you every chance they get on PvP servers
3. Horde kill NPC quest givers to grief Alliance every chance they get
4. Horde get away with terrible crimes against the community and GM's won't punish
5. Horde are stinky
Having played both factions in battle grounds and in open land PvE I have seen instances where people were griefing other players and even griefing the players on the same faction.
If you find yourself absolutely HATING another faction, please comment on why.

Argent Tournament?
I have been wondering what is all the fuss about this Argent Tournament (AT) thing that was released in our World of Warcraft. So, I decided this last week to discover what it was all about.
The lore behind it is that you are training, along side your opposing faction, to bravely fight the horde in mounted combat.
"We have invited you here to test your skill and valor against others who have bravely opposed the Scourge. Many have been our divisions, but the time has come for heroes fighting under all banners to test their blades against one another in preparation for facing our mutual enemy."
The AT grounds are found in the northern point of Icecrown in Northrend. There is a flight point once you get there you should learn.
The AT grounds are a Sanctuary so if you are flagged PvP, you are un-targetable by apposing faction.
The objective of the quest lines progression is to train you in the art of mounted combat with a Argent Lance. They are free and can be looted from the many racks that are around the grounds. Yes, this is yet another thing to take up your precious bag space. However, if you are really hurting for that slot, you can discard and re-loot another at will.
You will notice the minimum level you must be to equip the lance is 77.
You must use an Argent mount, which can be found around the grounds.
Once you start the quest line, which begins with The Argent Tournament, your reputation with The Sunreavers will begin to increase and you will begin to collect Aspirant's Seals by completing the dailies.
Upon completion of the Aspirant line, you move on to the Valiant's line of quests where the challenges become more dangerous. Up to this point you are not in danger of dieing when you get dismounted on health depletion. NOW you are pursued by your target and killed. You will take full damage to your gear just as you would if you were out and about and died in battle. There is very little to save you since your opponent is able to do thousands of damage per hit.
After completing The Valiant's Challenge line of quests you are allowed to repeat the valiant stage of daily quests for the other factions that you have not yet earned the right to champion.
What's in it for you?
1. Plethera of XP if you are not quite 80
2. Plethera of Money from the dailies if you are 80
3. Reputation for the faction you are championing
4. Several Achievements
5. Access to the Quatermaster to purchase: Champion Collectable Mounts, Non-combat pets, Tabards, Epic Weapons, Rare Gear, Rare Necklaces, Rare Trinkets, Banners, Hierlooms, and the coveted Argent Hippogryph
I am personally after the Greatsword of the Sin'dorei as a Fury warrior dual wielding 2H weapons, this looks tasty.
I am not quite yet Champion but am well on my way.

Fishing for Coinage
I have enjoyed leveling fishing for the first time in over 4 years of playing this game.
For me, it was the achievement system that made it more interesting and fun.
There is a specific achievement that can take some time to complete because you are fishing in a small fountain in the floating city of Dalaran to catch coins. Yes, coins.
This achievement has you looting:
(23) x
Copper Coins +
(15) x
Silver Coins +
(15) x
Gold Coins
= total of 53 coins to be exact.
To increase your luck to catch the coins you need, you toss a gold coin that you have previously looted, back into the fountain and you get a 2 minute lucky buff.
For the last few months I have loitered around this fountain in Dalaran, along with many other fishing enthusiasts while waiting on LFG to pop, or just pass the time chatting with friends.
Last night I found the final gold coin I was missing and got the The Coin Master achievement completed.
The reward for the achievement came to me in the mail shortly after.
Titanium Seal of Dalaran
It does not do anything other then let you flip it for a heads or tails response in your action log and take up bag space.
Maybe this coin can take the place of DKP systems and just flip for phat loot!
Heads I win, tails you lose!

Flame Keeper

I have spent the last week trying to desecrate and honor all the flames for Midsummer Fire Festival achievements.
I succeeded!
I got the The Flame Keeper achievement!
I found a great guide to this achievement here: The OverAchiever: Guide to Midsummer Fire Festival achievements
Testing WOW Head Item Links
To color your item tooltip links based on item quality, put "class=q#" in the tag, where # is the number of the quality level of the item:
5 is legendary (orange), 4 is epic (purple), 3 is rare (blue), 2 is uncommon (green), 1 is common (white), 0 is poor (gray).
A working example can be found here. Signet of Unshakable Faith

First Post
Here goes the first entry of Oh My Kek!
This blog was created as a way for and my friends to share our adventures in an mmo game called World of Warcraft.
I am an ex-guild master of a medium sized quild. The guild was going on 4+ years and was an alliance guild. I had (5) level 80 characters all in decent heroic rated gear.

Last summer I leveled (2) horde characters to 70 pre-WOTLK expansion and found I really love playing on the horde side. So here I am on an adventure for the Horde collective playing my (2) level 80 Tauren characters.
Yes, I am a multi-boxer. I have been playing (2) characters at a time for about 3 years now. I don't use any key cloning software, I actually use (2) keyboards, (2) mice, (2) monitors, (1) iMac, and (1) Dell XPS. I enjoy the game much more when there is more going on than just single player activity.
I am the husband of a Blood Elf Paladin and the father of a Blood Elf Hunter. Yes my wife and daughter both play this game as well. Call it our primary hobby when we are not camping, fishing, swimming, biking, ect...
Anyway, I recently turned over the alliance guild controls to the capable leadership that was in place. I am sure they will be just fine w/o me.
On to why this blog was created...I needed a place to share my thoughts, ideas, successes, and struggles surrounding the game. Less of a forum, more of a blog, so here I am.
I hope you enjoy some of the articles and welcome contributions as well.
Happy Hunting!
